Overview
Assign an issue to Comma or mention @Comma in a comment. Comma answers in the issue, runs the work as a Task, and posts progress and the result back to the issue.
What you can do
Fix a bug
Hand over a bug report with the expected behaviour. Comma does the work and links the pull request in the issue.
@Comma Fix this and keep the change as small as you can.
Make a small change
A focused issue with a clear result is enough to start from.
@Comma Make the collapse button target 24px and say what changed.
Ask before deciding
Get an explanation or a plan in the issue first. An answer needs no Task.
@Comma What is the likely cause? Outline a plan before changing anything.
How to connect
- Open Settings › Channels. In Comma, open Settings, then Channels, and press Connect on Linear.
- Authorise Linear. The first person in a Linear workspace installs Comma, which needs a Linear admin. Everyone after that links only their own account.
- Delegate an issue. Assign the issue to Comma, or mention @Comma in a comment. Read the guide.
FAQs
What runs the work?
Your own Codex or Claude Code connected to Comma, or a cloud Worker with Comma credits. An answer in the issue needs neither.
Can I stop it?
Yes. Press Stop in the issue's session. Marking the issue Done or Canceled, or assigning it away from Comma, also stops a running Task.
Whose workspace does the work run in?
The workspace of whoever delegated the issue, with their Workers and credits.
Can Comma also read my Linear issues?
Yes. Connect Linear on the Plugins page for issue and project tools in chat, or set it as a personal source so Comma brings up what involves you.
