Comma is your 24/7 personal agent. No full stop until it's done.
Comma at work
A short example. You add four photos of whiteboards, pick a board deck from Drive, choose the Meeting notes skill and mention an earlier Task, then ask for the Q4 plan. Comma starts a Task, delivers the plan and marks the Task done. You open the Task to read the plan.
You ask. Comma does the work.
Ask once
Your message becomes a Task, and Comma finishes it.
Knows when it's done
Comma checks the work itself and decides when a Task is done.
Works in your apps
Comma works in your apps and files, on your Mac, and on its own cloud computer.
Where the work runs
A briefing before your day starts
At the time you set, Routines lists what needs you in each app. Pick one to start.
Example: Routines opens with a short briefing: two reviews waiting and a question from Sam in Slack. Below it, the Slack, GitHub and Google Drive cards each list three Tasks. Choosing a row puts a prompt in the composer. In the chat, Comma has commented on the launch brief, and then drafts a reply to Sam.
Comma writes first
When something needs you now, Comma tells you in chat and suggests the next step.
Example: without being asked, Comma writes in the Home chat that Priya moved Thursday's design review to 2 PM and offers to draft a reply. You answer yes, and the draft waits in Gmail. Then Comma writes that Sam asked in Slack how the pricing page is coming along and offers to reply. You say it ships Thursday, and Comma answers in the thread.
Many Tasks, one board
See what is running and what waits for you.
Example board with four columns: Backlog, In progress, Needs Review and Done. Comma moves the cards itself: a delivered Task to Done, a queued Task to In progress, and a Task that needs your decision to Needs Review.
Every call can end in a Task
The Mac app offers to record your calls and saves them to Drive. A summary Task follows.
Example: during a Google Meet call, the Mac app offers to record it. You start recording, and the recorder shows the running time with Pause and Stop.
Hand off work from your chats

FAQs
What kind of work can I hand to Comma?
Work you would give a capable colleague: plan an offsite, follow up on a thread, prepare a document from your files. Quick questions get an answer in chat. Bigger work becomes a Task that Comma carries to done.
When does Comma check with me first?
When a decision is yours, the Task waits for you in Needs Review. The rest of a Task Comma does on its own, in your connected apps too. Ask it to only draft if you prefer. Your computers stay read-only until you allow more.
Does Comma keep working when my Mac is closed?
Yes. Comma works on its own cloud computer, so a Task keeps going without your Mac. Check in or hand off new work from Signal, Telegram or WeChat. Only call recording and files on your Mac need the Mac.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your conversations, prompts and files are never used for training, and your personal data is not sold. Connected apps get scoped access that you can revoke at any time.
Can I use my ChatGPT or Claude plan?
Yes. Comma uses its own models by default. You can also bring your own API key, or a ChatGPT or Claude plan, and model calls through them use no credits.
