# Use your Notion pages and databases as context

## Overview

Connect Notion, and Comma can read your project pages and databases, so a request starts from what your team already wrote down.

## What you can do

### Prepare a project brief

Pull the background of a project together from the pages that hold it.

> Write a one-page brief of this project from its Notion pages.

### Find what was decided

Get the decisions and the open questions out of a set of notes.

> List the decisions and open questions in these meeting notes.

### Read a database

Ask about the entries in a database without filtering it by hand.

> Which entries in this roadmap database are due this month?

## How to connect

1. **Open Plugins.** Choose Plugins in the sidebar, then Notion.
2. **Connect Notion.** Sign in to Notion and approve access to your workspace.
3. **Ask in chat.** Name the project, page or database in your request.

## FAQs

### Can Comma tell me about Notion pages that involve me?

Yes. Set your Notion account as a personal source on the Plugins page. Comma reads it, finds what involves you and brings it up in chat.

### Does it cover databases?

Yes. The connection covers both pages and databases.
